Visit to the Swayambhunath (monkey temple) and Boudanath in Kathmandu, Nepal. Kathmandu is a very interesting city, rich in history and culuture, so it certainly worth to spend here a few days before and after any trek in Nepal.
Entrance to Swayambhunath (Monkey temple). This temple is an important place for buddist religion and is built on a hill top in Kathmandu.

The prayers wheels. Inside the cylinders there is a roll of paper where prayers are written. By turning the wheels by hands, the prayers go in the sky.
