Bergen is probably the most picturesque and beautiful city in Norway, well known for the old houses in the Bryggen district, recently included into UNESCO heritage places. Very interesting also the fish market and the vibrant colors of the charming streets.
Bergen is a nice and charming city, with many gardens and green places.
The fish market in Bergen is one of the most important of the entire country and is located near the main dock.
The "Bergenhus festning" is a fortress built in the XI-XII century, to protect the important dock in Bergen.
The Mariakirken cathedral, was built in the XII century and is one of the Scandinavia's oldest church.

The wooden houses of the Bryggen district are almost one thousand years old and are located on the east side of Vagan dock. They are now included into UNESCO heritage sites.
The houses was owned by traders and they are now deformed by the action of time and fires happened in the past.
