My cabin and the wonderful scenery visible from the balcony. I am just a few miles from the front of the Eqi glacier. Often, with a big thunder, some part of the glacier collapses into the water, creating a new iceberg.
With a 30 minutes walk, it is possible to reach this nice beach where there isn't any other human's footprint.
Lichens and small flowers grow almost everywhere, even directly on the rocks.
|Excursion along the lateral moraine of Eqi glacier, that can be reached with about 1 hour walk from Ice Camp Eqi.

An area of Eqi glacier, before and after calving some ice.
Eqi's glacier front is very nice, having often a beautiful blue color.
Navigating in the fjord, before going back to Ilulissat.
